My hiatus has not been in vain for the past few months. On top of PR management & Brand Consultations, I have had the pleasure of revisiting the realm of Marketing & Event planning for some awesome creative entrepreneurs and non-profits. Each project took me by surprise but I am happy others are interested in my ability to help them bring their dream projects to life.

In March I helped Gerard Pefung host an appreciation reception at one of my favorite venues in Downtown Omaha. It was an experience which further fueled my desire to help others plan memorable experiences rather than just a date on the calendar. The event was held to showcase recent works, reconnect past supporters & have a good time! We held a breakdance party with two DJ’s, acoustic vocals, original West African dishes and a speech by Gerard.

A few photographers helped capture the excitement. Al Viola captured the joyous moments between friends while Mike Machain recalled surprises on the dance floor. Here’s a snapshot of some of my favorite moments.

I’ve since gone on to assist cool folks like Joe Gerstandt, the Omaha Small Business Network, the Urban League of Nebraska Young Professionals, the Malcolm X Memorial Foundation & the Bemis Center in nearly a dozen more experiential shindigs celebrating the arts & culture of this city. How cool is it to use your gifts to enhance the lives of others? Make no mistake that I have no regrets about working as hard as I do – but truthfully, I do it all because it makes me happy and I could ask for nothing more!
